However, Martha’s twin sister Julia does not believe in what is happening and decides to investigate the situation. The girl drowned, and her death was attributed to suicide. The story revolves around the mysterious death of a young Italian girl named Marta. We are talking, of course, about the Second World War, which claimed many human lives. Martha Is Dead is set in the midst of the bloodiest armed conflict in human history.
